Poor Yum yum goat must have somehow got stuck under a gate in her stable on Saturday night, maybe something had spooked her, probably Casper. Sunday morning I found her with very scraped and bruised knees the size of tennis balls and strained back legs. Our lovely vet came over even though he’d not quite recovered

This pan full of verdant foliage is freshly picked bilberry leaf gathered from our garden. We have an abundance of bilberry growing here so we use it to make a leaf extract for our foot cream. There is still more than plenty left and next month we’ll be picking the delicious berries to scatter over

Its been a balmy day, made hundreds of these little cuties. The scent of orange essential oil brought back memories of childhood picnics … a cheese roll, crisps, an apple, a Club biscuit and a plastic mug full of sun warmed orange squash.
