Poor Yum yum goat must have somehow got stuck under a gate in her stable on Saturday night, maybe something had spooked her, probably Casper. Sunday morning I found her with very scraped and bruised knees the size of tennis balls and strained back legs. Our lovely vet came over even though he’d not quite recovered from a hernia op and gave her a pain relief injection and rubbed salve on her knees. Now she can at least lie down and I’ve been boosting her morale with leafy offerings of beech and ivy. Goats make terrible patients, and can just give up all too easily so she is getting lots of attention
