Learning Ukrainian and an alto part whilst having an epic soap in-house wrapping session. I love my job!
Although now sung mainly around Christmas, it's a traditional Ukrainian folk song about swallows, lambs, spring, and all things bountiful for their new year.

Shchedryk is one of the songs our choir, NEW Voices, will be singing on 23rd December at Llangollen Pavillion Hall, 12.30pm and 3.30pm along with the fantastic orchestra NEW Sinfonia who are also playing along live to The Snowman film.
If interested in this family event, tickets can be bought online at newsinfonia.org, raising money to support the International Eisteddfod and a local refugee charity.
