Nestled in between Snowdonia and Menai Strait is the huge neo-norman PENRHYN CASTLE. Taking aside the beautifully restored kitchens full of big copper pans, massive slate sinks and lovely Victorian cooking utensils, an industrial railway museum, stable block houses and 60 acres of countryside with stunning sea views they have a very good shop and thanks to Rhian Owen its shelves will soon be full of laughing bird stock, so if you’re in the area this summer please pop in!
