Shea Butter (medium)

An intensive natural moisturiser rich in vitamins A and E provides relief for very dry and chapped skin.
Our butter is bought in its unrefined state from the fir trade certified Akoma women's cooperative in Ghana, West Africa and is of the finest, creamiest quality. Earth ovens are used to roast the shea nuts, which are then ground and mixed with hot water into a paste resembling chocolate cake mix. Then cold water is added, the mix is brought to the boil and the separated shea butter, looking like vanilla ice cream, is scooped into big bowls ready for use.
raw butyrospermium parkii (shea butter) produced in the traditional way by Akoma, a womens cooperative in Ghana. Their shea butter is certified fair trade and organic.
"Much prefer the texture of this shea butter to the one which I am currently using. Lovely and creamy and a much better price. "

"I have been using shea butter for quite some time now for everything since I my skin is very sensitive. This is the best I've used so far! the texture is great, I love the nature subtle scent. I use it on my skin and it is also perfect for my curly hair ( I use it as a stying cream). "
