Shea Butter (small)

An intensive natural moisturiser rich in vitamins A and E provides relief for very dry and chapped skin.
Our butter is bought from the fiar trade certified Akoma women's cooperative in Ghana, West Africa and is of the finest, creamiest quality. Earth ovens are used to roast the shea nuts, which are then ground and mixed with hot water into a paste resembling chocolate cake mix. Then cold water is added, the mix is brought to the boil and the separated shea butter, looking like vanilla ice cream, is scooped into big bowls ready for use.
Organic unrefined butyrospermium parkii (shea butter) produced in the traditional way by the the fair trade and soil association certified Akoma cooperative
"Thank you for making lovely unrefined shea-butter; it's a treasure! I've got problematic dry and sensitive skin and this is the perfect product for me! It deeply moisturizes witout drying out or irritating the skin. I also use it as foot-lotion, elbow-cream and on my chapped lips. I even use a tiny bit on my eye-lashes to keep them supple and strong. This product smells amazing. Its simply fabulous! If you live in Brighton you can get it at Infinity Foods. X X X "

"If i had realised before what a wonderful product this was I could have saved myself a fortune in lip balm (and a lot of exposure to unnecessary chemicals!). I also warm it up in my hand and mix it with my normal face oils for an extra moisturising overnight treatment. A little goes a long way but when I do eventually run out I will be repurchasing the big tub as I love it so much!! "
